Tatty Teddy heads to Stars on Canvas auction

Tatty Teddy is heading to auction with a unique, hand-painted piece of artwork created for this year’s Stars on Canvas project.

Stars on Canvas is a bi-annual charity auction of original artworks created by leading names in the art, sport, music and pop culture worlds and will feature work from the likes of Robbie Williams and Mo Farah.

This year, the exclusive oil painting featuring Tatty Teddy of Me to You fame has been created by the brand’s head artist, Steve Mort Hill with the aim of raising money for the Willow Foundation.

Canvases will be sold via an online eBay auction kicking off on November 13th, with all artworks available to view in a special public exhibition from November 20th to 23rd at The Hub, Heddon Street, London.

Between 2008 and 2012, Stars on Canvas has raised more than £150,000 for Willow.

‘With reserve prices starting at just 99 pence, Stars on Canvas is a fantastic way to own a unique piece of artwork by your favourite artist, illustrator, singer, actor or sports star and makes the perfect gift for a loved one this Christmas,’ read a statement from the Carte Blanche team.
