Telltale launches Guardians of the Galaxy video game series

Telltale has announced that it will be developing a five-part adventure game series based on the Marvel property.

The episodic video game series will be debuting in 2017 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and mobile devices.

The announcement was made at The Game Awards on Friday night after rumors of the developer working on a Marvel property. In previous years Telltale has used the Game Awards as a platform to announce it’s Game of Thrones tie-in game and new episodes of it’s ongoing The Walking Dead series.

High-budget sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 is scheduled to release in April 2017, meaning that the Telltale series could launch alongside it.

Telltale’s games are traditionally narrative-driven games featuring moral choices and quick-time event based action.
