Imangi Studios expands hit mobile game app to plush dolls of popular characters Guy Dangerous and Karma Lee

Temple Run plush toys on the way

Imangi Studios, creators of Temple Run, has revealed its plans to extend the popular gaming app franchise into a range of plush toys and a handheld LCD game.

In a new partnership with Factory Entertainment the range of plush will feature characters from the series, including Demon Monkeys, Temple Idols, Guy Dangerous and Karma Lee.

The first products will roll out this autumn.

Meanwhile, the firm has also partnered with Basic Fun to produce the first Temple Run handheld LCD game.

Players will be able to select their favourite characters and help them escape the clutches of the Demon Monkeys, avoiding obstacles along the way.

The game will be available in spring next year and will retail for around $9.99.

Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios, said: "Our work with Factory Entertainment and Basic Fun will connect Temple Run fans to the characters and stories they have interacted with for the last three years.

"We’re looking forward to announcing more partnerships this year, so stay tuned."

Jordan Schwartz, president of Factory Entertainment, added: "Factory Entertainment is delighted to add Temple Run to its line of plush characters and accessories, which includes some of today’s hottest entertainment properties, as well as evergreen classics."
