Hasbro to launch official face-to-face games later this year.

Tetris Jenga and Bop It ready to drop

The Tetris Company has struck a licensing deal with Hasbro which allows the latter to produce two official games. 

The toy giant will produce face-to-face games based on the classic video game puzzler, including Jenga Tetris and Bop It Tetris. Both will launch worldwide this August.

Henk Rogers, Managing Director of The Tetris Company, said: "We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Hasbro to expand the Tetris brand and give our fans fun, challenging face-to-face formats to experience the ‘Tetris Effect’ in a unique way."

As many as 35 million Tetris games are played every day online.
