The Emoji Company eyes ‘substantial growth in the Nordics’ with Bulls Licensing partnership

Bulls Licensing has teamed with Bravado UK to represent the Emoji brand in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

Through the agreement, Bulls Licensing will further develop partnerships for the brand and expand its portfolio of licensees.

The Emoji Company has transformed today’s power of digital communication into a global licensing phenomenon when it created the emoji lifestyle brand back in 2013.

The company owns more than 800 trademarks and created more than 8000 icons, patterns and characters protected by copyright and available for legal licensing and merchandising.

The emoji brand is used by more than 500 global licensees and has been nominated the third most influential brand in the year 2017.

“Our new partnership with Bulls Licensing will guarantee a wide coverage for our brand throughout the Nordics,” said Marco Husges, CEO of the emoji company.

“We are excited about this new partnership with Bravado and Bulls Licensing which will guarantee a substantial growth and future development for the emoji brand in the region.”

Gustav Melin, international licensing director at Bulls Licensing, added: “We are happy to be partnering with Bravado UK for the Nordics. The emoji brand is a perfect complement to our already strong portfolio.

“Bravado has made a fantastic work for emoji in the UK and we are excited to be taking the brand to the next level in the Nordics.”

David Boyne, managing director at Bravado commented: “To strike this partnership with Bulls Licensing is another great step for emoji, to have their expertise and knowledge of the Nordic market is going to further drive the emoji brand forward.”
