The Emoji Company has teamed with the popular Donut King chain to create a range of donuts featuring five much-loved emojis.
Tears of Joy, Throwing a Kiss, Heart Eyes, Winking and Tongue Out will now all feature on a select line of the popular donut brand, available across Australia from October 16th.
The range is being supported with a Donut Touch My Emojis campaign including a point of sale and social media advertising and promotions.
“Emojis aren’t just for sharing online. They have broken free from the internet and onto clothes, cushions and from today, donuts,” said Scott Anderson, Donut King head of product development.
“Emoji donuts are a first of their kind and exclusive to Donut King. The specialty donuts are covered in white icing with blue, pink, red, yellow or brown sprinkles, each with an edible image of an emoji.
“Emojis have become a way to express feelings and some believe they are more accurate than words.”
