Popular children’s animated series The Jungle Bunch to the Rescue is making its return to European television in a new deal with Super RTL.
The German broadcaster has picked up the first pre-sale of the show’s second season, currently in production by TAT Productions and Master Films.
A property of PGS, the first season of The Jungle Bunch has seen success in over 180 territories, including France, Australia, Germany and more.
Based on the original movie, The Jungle Bunch: Back to the Ice Flow, Jungle Bunch to the Rescue features a comedic array of animals, including Maurice the penguin who thinks he is a tiger, Miguel the gorilla, Fred the warthog and junior the tiger fish.
“The Jungle Bunch is one of those exceptional properties that resonates with broadcasters and kids around the world,” said Guillame Soutter, president, PGS Hong Kong.
“It has become an instant classic thank to the brilliance of TAT Productions and Master Films. They have created such lovable and engaging characters. We are delighted that Super RTL has jumped on season two for more adventures.”
The Jungle Bunch is the winner of five international kids’ programming awards and was nominated for the Kids Emmy Award.
