The Licensing Awards 2015 Best Licensed Property finalists revealed

The finalists in all of the Best Licensed Property categories in The Licensing Awards 2015 have been revealed.

The line-up was arrived at as a result of nominations canvassed from an extensive panel of experienced retailers and licensees.

“The finalists in the licensed property categories are a true reflection of the strength of this dynamic industry," said Ian Hyder, joint managing director of Max Publishing, owner of The Licensing Awards and The Licensing Source Book.

"The contenders fanfare an array of properties from across the spectrum – from relative newcomers from the world of music and new media right through to true stalwart brands that wield the power of their heritage.

“To properly reflect the immense licensing activity that hails from the film world, a dedicated award which celebrates this joins the line-up.”

Best Preschool Licensed Property

Best TV Licensed Property

Best Film Licensed Property

Best Sports Licensed Property

Best Music or Celebrity Licensed Property

Best Gaming or New Media Licensed Property

Best Brand Licensed Property

The Classic Licensed Property Award

(This is for properties that are over 10 years old. The winning property will enter the Classic Hall of Fame and join previous winners, Thomas & Friends in 2014, The Beano in 2013, Mickey Mouse in 2012 and Star Wars in 2011)

The winners of all the Best Licensed Property Awards categories will be revealed (alongside the winners of the Product Awards and Marketing Communication Award, the finalists of which have already been revealed) at The Licensing Awards event on Tuesday, September 15th, which will take place in The Great Room at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
