The Light Fund London Quiz raises record £15,000

Licensing industry charity The Light Fund raised a record £15,000 at this year’s annual Light Fund London Quiz.

The sell out event took over Arsenal FC’s Emirates Stadium’s Royal Oak room for the first time to house over 350 members of the licensing industry as 45 teams competed to win the coveted trophy.

Copyrights emerged victorious following eight intense rounds of grey matter pounding, while Global Licensing placed bottom, taking home the booby prize Pants Of Doom.

Rainbow Productions won the prize for best team name with it’s the Furry Arse N’Alls moniker.

Chairman of The Light Fund, Danilo’s Trevor Jones, said: “Tonight, we have raised over £15,000, which is a record for this event. This makes 2015 the best year ever for The Light Fund, with a massive £150,000 having been raised over the last 12 months.

“We will be able to fund projects with approaching 30 registered charities and make a difference to thousands and thousands of people in the UK and overseas.”

The Light Fund has now managed to raise an impressive £885,000 over the course of its 11 year history.

“Wouldn’t it be nice to get to £1m next year?” posed Jones.
