The Point 1888 brings Montezuma’s and Kimm & Miller together for new gift boxes

New Montezuma’s and Kimm & Miller gift boxes will launch this month thanks to a deal negotiated by The Point 1888.

A bottle of sparkling Gancia Pinot di Pinot Rose and a pack of Montezuma’s truffles have been packaged in tube-shaped boxes as gifts for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, for purchase through Debenhams, Moonpig and Montezuma’s website.

The Point 1888 has signed a new three year agreement with Montezuma’s, the Sussex-based national chocolate brand, and autumn will see a larger gift range for sale via Montezuma’s own retail outlets and website and will be offered to a handful of select retailers.

“Our first leap into licensing has been exciting and a huge learning curve," said Montezuma’s brand manager Sarah Gainsborough.

"We are thrilled to be working with The Point 1888, with their years of experience and complete understanding and love for our brand. Kimm & Miller were the obvious first choice for us when it comes to creating high quality gifting to complement a brand. They have a portfolio to envy and their visions for our brand are spot on. We can’t wait to introduce these fabulous products to the market this year.”

Will Stewart, brand manager of The Point 1888, added: "We are delighted and proud to have brought together two partners who share the same vision for developing a beautiful range of giftware."

The agreement with Kimm and Miller will see new ranges of special product each year available for dedicated retailers and is expected to bring to fruition products such as Montezuma’s mugs, storage tins and jars and branded beer glasses, among other gift items.

William Pegg, Kimm and Miller MD, added: ‘Kimm & Miller are thrilled to be working with, arguably Britain’s most innovative Chocolate Brand. The whole team at Montezuma’s has an infectious passion and enthusiasm and it’s been a hugely enjoyable process creating a gift range together with them."
