The Pokémon Company unveils Lavender Town inspired clothing and accessories

The Pokémon Company International has unveiled a new original line of apparel and accessories influenced by the Pokémon universe location, Lavender Town.

The new collection is available to US shoppers exclusively bia PokemonCenter.com, a digital destination for official Pokémon merchandise launched by the Pokémon Company.

Lavender Town originally appeared in the Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue video games and is recognised among fans as the most mysterious and one of the most iconic locations in the video game series.

‘Lavender Town is home to the Pokémon Tower, the final resting place of many Pokémon in the Kanto region. Like Lavender Town itself, the line is dark and mysterious and it features several elements inspired by the town, including the tower and ghost-type Pokémon,’ read a statement from the firm.

Apparel and accessories featured include crew neck sweatshirts, 9Fifty Baseball Cap by New Era, leggings, infinity scarf, backpacks, laptop sleeves, colour changing mugs, lunch boxes and pencil cases.

The collection is geared towards tapping into the back to school market.
