The Walking Dead attraction rises at Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios has confirmed that a permanent Walking Dead-themed attraction will now be housed in its Hollywood park.

The move was announced during the zombie drama’s post-show talk show, The Talking Dead in the US, by the show’s host Chris Hardwick who revealed that a Walking Dead walk-through maze will become a fixed feature of the resort.

The zombie-filled maze has previously been offered to visitors during the theme park’s annual Halloween Horror Nights. However, owing to the series’ growing popularity, it will now be a year-round attraction.

Featuring “authentic walker make-up effects, sophisticated animatronic walkers, substantially more detailed set design and costuming and highly recognisable props,” the set will mirror events of the hit AMC series.
