Those Licensing People teams up with for the People Awards

Licensing agent Those Licensing People has pledged its support to the People Awards by sponsoring the Licensor of the Year Award.

Those Licensing People was established in 2013 by industry veteran Russell Dever of 1461 Ltd and Alasdair Dewar of Mulberry Winford.

In a short space of time the company has stamped its mark on the licensing sector, most recently signing prestigious deals with fashion brand and designer label Versace 19V69 Abbigliamento Sportivo, Mad Dog Energy Drinks and Juan De Lascarain.

Those Licensing People will sponsor the Licensor of the Year Award at the inaugural People Awards, which take place next Thursday (April 30th) at Sway Bar, London.

Dever, who is also the man behind such children’s properties as Boy and the Dinosaur, Rollie and Friends and vintage Little Monsters said: “The UK licensing industry is a hotbed of amazing talent and we’re proud to be a part of it.

"We’re delighted that the People Awards will recognise the individuals and teams behind this fantastic business and our support of this event underlines that.” editor Samantha Loveday added: “It’s apt that a company known as Those Licensing People has offered its support of the licensing people across our industry. We’re delighted and honoured that Russell and his team are sponsoring the Licensor of the Year category.”

The People Awards take place on Thursday April 30th at Sway Bar, London. Tickets are priced at just £79 and can be bought by clicking here.
