Licensing agency Those Licensing people today unveils a new brand identity.
The company, which was established in 2013 by industry veteran Russell Dever of 1461 Productions and Alasdar Dewar of Mulberry Winford, has enjoyed a storming start since its inception.
Deals brokered over the past few months include agreements with designer label Versace 19V69 Abbigliamento Sportivo, Mad Dog Energy Drinks and Juan De Lascarain.
The firm is also just back from a successful MIPTV event where it agreed a new co-pro deal with Echo Media in Canada for Boy and the Dinosaur, on behalf of 1461 and Shooting Star.
And, of course, tonight Those Licensing People sponsors The Licensing.biz People Awards in London.
“It’s been an incredible few months for Those Licensing People,” said Dever.
“It’s still early days, but we’re excited about the projects we have in place and are looking forward to revealing more very shortly.
“But in the meantime, it’s apt that we launch our new look for spring 2015 at the Licensing.biz People Awards.”
Dever explains the original thinking behind the name of the business: “When we were thinking about setting up a licensing arm for 1461 we wanted to find a name that was really memorable.
"We started from the premise that when you are at shows and markets and trying to remember the companies you’ve just met, but have lost the business card, it’s frustrating.
“With us, if people lose our business card, they will always remember us as ‘Those Licensing People’!”
