Thrash-metal icons Slayer ‘show no mercy’ with Tatami Fightwear Kimonos

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu focused sports brand, Tatami Fightwear has launched a new range of BJJ Kimonos paying homage to the thrash-metal icons, Slayer.

Following the success of its Slayer Reign in Blood and Slayer Eagle rash guards, both of which were launched last year, Tatami has brought two new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Kimonos to market, encouraging enthusiasts to ‘show no mercy on the mats.’

Icons of the thrash-metal scene, Slayer is currently on its final world-tour and has just begun the fifth leg of the World Tour, currently travelling throughout North America before returning to Europe in June with major festival dates such as Rock in Rio, Wacken and Heavy Montreal still in the diary.

Tatami Fightwear was established in 2009 and has since grown to sponsor some of the world’s greatest fighters in the sport, as well as having product available in over 30 countries.

Managing director of Tatami Fightwear, Gareth Dummer, said: “We are super excited to continue to bring grappling fans exciting new collaborations and to continue our partnership with such an iconic band. I’m very excited to see the reaction and hope people will love them as much as we do.”
