Studio Licensing secures several key deals for Zodiak's pre-school property.

Tickety Toc steps up a gear in Canada

Studio Licensing has been busy securing licensing deals for Zodiak Kids’ new pre-school property, Tickety Toc, in Canada.

Following on from the show’s successful run on Disney Junior Canada, a number of consumer products will be introduced in the summer.

NTD Apparel has signed up to launch a line of active and sports clothing including tops, bottoms, sets and hoodies; while Black & White Merchandising will develop a range of footwear.

Danawares is planning to launch puzzles, games, arts and crafts, stationery and placements; Imagine Publications will create a variety of activity books, card games and flash cards; while Daytime Enterprises is developing costumes of the show’s lead characters, Tommy and Tallulah, and will manage all event appearances.

Just Play continues as the North American master toy partner, while the first home entertainment title will be launched by Anchor Bay Entertainment in the autumn.

"Since its launch in Canada, Tickety Toc has become a top rated show airing daily on Disney Junior," said Robert Miller, president of Studio Licensing. "This mirrors the property’s highly successful worldwide momentum. Its high dual gender and mom appeal has made it a pre-school standout, providing a strong platform for the consumer products programme that is now set to grow extensively in coming months."
