Tip the Mouse comes to Latin America following Disney acquisition

m4e AG has revealed that its pre-school series Tip the Mouse has been acquired by Disney Junior Latin America.

The deal was negotiated with Mipcom and will see Disney Junior Latin America gain access to exclusive Pay TV and basic subscription TV-rights.

m4e AG finalised the broadcasting agreement with Buena Vista International Inc, for all Latin American territories, including Brazil.

Jo Daris, head of operations at m4e AG, said: “Following the successful broadcasts of Tip the Mouse in Europe and many other territories, we are very happy that Disney Junior Latin America has picked up this pre-school property for Latin America and especially Brazil – important markets where we now can proceed to establish the series as a pre-school brand.”

The 52 episodes of the series were produced by m4e, Studio Bozzetto & Co., Giunti Editore, Studio Campedelli and Rai Fiction.

It is also based on the well-known children’s book Tip the Mouse, by Italian author Andrea Dami, which so far has sold 11 million books worldwide.
