Nickelodeon’s Shellraiser Tour will see a life-size version of the vehicle from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles travel the UK through July.
The five-week tour, in association with Sky Go, sees the Shellraiser visit Asda stores across the country every weekend this month.
“Since launch the Turtles range has created lots of excitement amongst children, as well as being popular with customers that fondly remember the characters from the first time around,” said Steph Hughes, head of events marketing at Asda.
“Having the Shellraiser at ten of our stores will be great fun for our customers and their families. It’s a great way of bringing to life the Turtles brand which we know our customers love and a way for kids to get active with a taster of martial arts.”
The tour will also give visitors a Dojo Ninja Experience which will see film stuntman Mike Shenton teach children non-contact martial arts moves.
Visitors to the tour can also test out Flair’s range of TMNT action figures and role-play sets as well as watch episodes of the show in a special Sky Go area.
A dedicated web page will track the route the Shellraiser takes and a competition will give kids the chance to win a visit from the vehicle at their school.
