IMG and Topman has partnered with American Freshman and online youth broadcaster Jamal Edwards to launch an exclusive range of hats.
The collection will consist of three baseball caps and two reversible bucket hats based on the American Freshman brand.
Launching at Topman’s flagship London store this month, the hat range has been designed in collaboration with Jamal Edwards, aiming to epitomise the US college lifestyle.
“As someone who worked in Topman from the age of 16, I never imagined that I would one day have my very own hat range in store,” said Edwards.
“I am so excited to be a part of something that fuses street, digital and high street cultures. To me, this project means ‘hard work’, ‘never give up’ and ‘always chase your dreams’.”
Each product is emblazoned with a ‘3B’s’ logo, which stand for Base, Body and Business, a motto Jamal was keen to endorse:
“The base: looking after your family. The body: keeping fit and eating healthy, and the business,” he added.
“The 3B’s are something I think about every day and have helped inspire my first Baseball Cap range with American Freshman.”
