Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will be exhibiting its licensing programme at the Hong Kong Licensing Show for the first time in the club’s history.
Spurs has continued to grow its portfolio throughout 2013, taking the brand into new international territories.
This year has seen the brand exhibit at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo for the first time, as well as being nominated in the Best Sports Property category at the 2013 Licensing Awards.
The club’s expansion into the Far East follows a number of new licensing deals across Australasia, South Africa, the Middle East and Scandinavia as well as a partnership with Sport Endeavors in the US.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Ambassadors Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles visited Hong Kong in November this year along with members of the Club’s Global Coaching team to work with local disadvantaged children.
The club also has a long term partnership with the country’s football team, South China FC, and works closely with the Hong Kong FA on grassroots player development.
Gary Jacobson, brand licensing manager, Tottenham Hotspur, said: "Our involvement at the Hong Kong Licensing Show highlights the importance Tottenham Hotspur is placing on the area or international licensing and meeting an increased demand for Club product in the Far East.
"We hope to use this fantastic opportunity to meet with potential new international licensees and display the benefits that we can provide to those who come on board with us."
Tottenham Hotspur will be exhibiting at the Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2014 between January 6th and 8th.
