Pre-school property, Tree Fu Tom is branching out this A/W with new episodes on CBeebies, alongside a major brand and retail campaign from FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment.
The campaign kicked off with the second series of the children’s entertainment show on CBeebies during the October half term.
This saw the channel launch a promotional campaign for the new episodes including screening an episode at the autumn season press and VIP event and online presence.
The new episodes averaged an 18.4 per cent share amongst children aged four to six, ranking as the number one show in its time slot, performing 41 per cent above CBeebies’ slot average.
The launch of the new episodes was supported by parenting website UKMumsTV with a weeklong take over highlighting the new episodes and featuring product competitions.
Meanwhile, the on-screen activity is being complemented with retail campaigns including Tree Fu Tom costume appearances at Smyths and John Lewis, and further appearances scheduled for Toys R Us and Debenhams in the New Year.
Furthermore, The Entertainer has implemented a window campaign across its fleet of stores, seeing the brand take prime position through to Christmas Day.
Elsewhere, Toys R Us is currently giving away a free magazine with every Tree Fu Tom sale in December and Wacky Warehouse soft play activity centres are helping the brand reach over 100,000 parents and children in the lead up to Christmas.
