Tulipop hits one million YouTube views just four months after platform launch

The Icelandic lifestyle brand Tulipop is celebrating another milestone, having witnessed its Tulipop YouTube channel hit its one millionth viewer just four months after its launch.

Following the worldwide popularity of the first English language online series, a further ten adventures have now been commissioned.

The new episodes will be co-produced by the leading kids’ network and studio, WildBrain, the management team behind the Tulipop YouTube channel. Tobi Wilson and Brydie Lee-Kennedy, best known for The Amazing World of Gumball, have been tapped as script writers.

In addition, the original ten episodes have been dubbed in Icelandic and sold to RUV, the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service.

2018 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for the Tulipop brand with a short film selected for the TIFF Kids Festival in Toronto in March.

Tulipop co-founder Helga Arnadottir, said: “It was always our ambition to extend the world of Tulipop into animation so we are thrilled that so many people around the globe have taken our beloved creations to their hearts.

“We can’t wait to release more Tulipop animated stories featuring our strange but lovable characters.”
