TV chef Tom Kerridge is teaming with RayGray Snacks to embark on his first foray into the world of licensing.
Under the new partnership, the celebrity chef famed for his appearances on The Great British Menu and Master Chef, will work with RayGray Snacks to develop a line of Tom Kerridge’s Pork Crunch.
Made from pork rind, the range will include flavours such as British Sea Salt, Pickled Green Chili and Smoked Paprika. The line is expected to launch in early 2017.
A champion of free range food, Kerridge’s products will be produced from Packington pork, a line of free range pigs reared to the RSPCA Freedom Foods standards.
Kerridge said: "British pig farming and animal husbandry are incredibly important and the highest levels of care are reflected in the excellence of this finished product."
The partnership was brokered by the chef’s licensing agent, Talisman Licensing.
Graham Jebb, managing director of RayGray Snacks, added: “Here at RayGray Snacks we have all enjoyed working with Tom to develop and produce his new range of pork crunch. We’re keen to show that you can still enjoy a porky pub snack that’s low in carbs and high in protein.”
Tom Kerridge’s Pork Crunch will be available through independent grocers, farm shops and selected multiples from spring 2017.
