Ubisoft launches Star Trek VR game

Video game publisher Ubisoft has launched a VR game based on the original Star Trek TV series in the form of Star Trek: Bridge Crew for Playstation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

As one of the first big multiplatform VR releases of the year so far, Bridge Crew sees friends gathering in a multiplayer setting to fulfill the various roles of the the USS Enterprise’s or new ship the USS Aegis’ crew. There is also a voyages mode that features randomised missions for solo players.

Additonally, HTC has confirmed that the game will come packed in with all new HTC Vive headsets sold going forward.
