UFC partners with OPRO for branded mouthguards

The world’s largest manufacturer of mouthguards, OPRO, is launching UFC-branded products, which will be available to purchase from 21st June.

Global mixed martial arts organisation, UFC, entered a multi-year licensing partnership with OPRO in October 2017, granting the mouthguard manufacturer with the rights to produce UFC-branded mouthguards and provide bespoke mouthguards to current UFC athletes.

Each UFC-branded mouthguard comes with its own Octagon shaped storage case, and features patented fin technology, an ultra-impact resistant outer layer, and flexible, thin material.

Consumers will be able to purchase UFC branded mouthguards from the Custom Fit, Self-Fit and Snap Fit ranges at opromouthguards.com, as well as through a network of key global retail partners, including UFCStore.com, Sports Direct, and Amazon.com.

“Our partnership with UFC is incredibly exciting and it reflects our continued growth into the world of combat sports,” said OPRO chief executive officer David Allen.

“Our mouthguards provide superior comfort and protection to all those who take part in all forms of combat sports and we are delighted to be able to finally announce the date consumers will be able to purchase our UFC mouthguards.”

Along with its OPRO deal, UFC has also announced a partnership with the Black Rifle Coffee Company, which will serve as the “Official Coffee” of Season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. The popular series returns to UFC FIGHT PASS, the brand’s digital subscription service, on Tuesday, this month.

“We’re excited to partner with Black Rifle Coffee Company to showcase the highly-anticipated second season of Contender Series,” said UFC senior vice president of Global Partnerships Paul Asencio.

“Contender Series is one of our most promising original series that helps find new UFC talent from around the world.”

Throughout this sponsorship, Black Rifle Coffee will work in conjunction with UFC to provide social content about the series, as well as promote a national campaign offering prizes and exclusive UFC experiences.

“Our brand is all about celebrating those who work hard and take their game to the highest level in everything they do,” explained Black Rifle Coffee Company vice president Mat Best.

“We seek to honour the brave who are not OK with mediocracy or the mundane – whether they are a service member, fireman or athlete. Every UFC athlete that walks into the world-famous Octagon demonstrates their commitment to perform at the highest level, so working with the MMA community through Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series is a natural fit for us.”
