Union J signs 25th licensing partner in five months

X Factor success story Union J has signed its 25th UK licensing partner in just five months of first entering the licensing sector.

The four piece already has a range of products across retail and has revealed that more is on its way pre-Christmas.

The brand’s portfolio currently includes the likes of Polybius Games developing a Union J augmented reality app; Vivid for dolls and games; Infinity Entertainment for plush as well as Penguin, Panini and Century Books across publishing.

There are also licensees outside of the UK, across the Nordics and Iberia.

Stephen Mills, licensing manager, said: "It’s been a brilliant time working on Union J. Licensees and retailers alike have really sat up and taken notice of the brand and can see the huge potential ahead of them.

"The boys have an incredibly strong following of fans and with all the exciting things happening in 2014 such as the planned European Tour, US promotion, another album, and wealth of UK gigs, Union J will continue on from this fantastic start."
