As The LEGO Movie readies for release next month, the block-busting animation is already available to pre-order on the internet marketplace, Amazon.
Unless you are a resident of the US.
Amazon has halted pre-orders of The LEGO Movie, alongside a number of other Warner Bros film in the US, due to a dispute over pricing.
The BBC reports that the online giant’s ‘powerful grip on the online marketplace has seen it flex its muscles over contracts with suppliers.’
The Movie is currently available to pre-order on Amazon sites outside of the US and can be purchased from Amazon Instant Video.
Warner and Amazon are yet to comment on the dispute, but the row echoes a similar disagreement with book publisher Hachette, that has been ongoing since May.
