Firm also launches its new Darth Vader helmet.

US: Anovos unveils Star Wars TIE Fighter Pilot costume

Anovos, a firm specialising in screen accurate uniforms and prop replicas, has unveiled two new official Star Wars costumes.

The TIE Fighter Pilot Ensemble has been replicated from existing artifacts at Lucasfilm Archives and features a full leather belt and metal belt buckle.

The outfit’s helmet boasts a built-in air system in helmet for comfort and the ensemble includes faux lather glove.

Unfortunately, the uniform costs just as much as it would to make your own working TIE fighter, as pre-orders for the outfit are available now for $1,350.

Elsewhere, the firm has unveiled its latest Darth Vader standalone helmet.

The helmet features the two-toned paint scheme used in The Empire Strikes Back, greebles and vents which are hidden by the dome when worn and a lined, breathable mesh inside of the face-mask.

The helmet isn’t cheap either, with pre-orders available at $399.
