King Digital Entertainment teams with Zara Terez for first women's apparel collection.

US: Candy Crush clothing line to launch

King Digital Entertainment has revealed the first women’s apparel collaboration with performance-wear brand Zara Terez for Candy Crush Saga.

The Zara Terez Collection ‘Candy Crush’ – which includes women’s full-length printed leggings, skirts and dresses – launches today (October 21st).

The looks will feature a playful twist on the candies and characters from the game, including favourites such as Odus the Owl, Swedish Fish and the Lollipop Hammer among others.

"We are always seeking ways to make the Candy Crush Saga gaming experience a reality for our devoted fans," said Claes Kalborg from King Digital Entertainment. "This collaboration with Zara Terez offers a new interpretation of our vision and we are so excited about the results of this partnerships."

Zara Terez Tisch added: "I’ve been a huge fan of Candy Crush from day one; not just the game, but also it’s iconic, show-stopping visuals.

"The on-screen candies are exactly the type of patterns that capture the energy of the Zara Terez brand, when the opportunity arose to work with King to bring Candy Crush Saga to life, we felt like it was a perfect fit."

The pieces will be sold on and in specialty retailers, with prices ranging from $28.50 to $75.
