New series to broadcast on Vortexx on The CW, following success in Nickelodeon and Nick Toons.

US: Digimon Fusion readies to air on new channels

The sixth season of the successful Digimon franchise will join the Vortexx on The CW line-up, following last year’s success on Nickleodeon and Nicktoons, Saban Brands has confirmed.

New episodes of Digimon Fusion return to Nicktoons on February 17th, with an all-day marathon followed by two new episodes. The series will roll out weekly premieres in its regular timeslot beginning on February 23rd.

"By making Digimon Fusion available on two different television networks and offering fans online promotions and a new online game, we are creating even more opportunities for fans to engage with the series," said Elie Dekel, president of Saban Brands. "With the continued growth of the series, we are thrilled to be able to provide fans with more of Digimon Fusion’s adventure packed digital world."

Bandai America has also produced a line of toys, tradind cards and digital apps for the series, including the Digimon Fusion Collectable Card Game.

Saban and Bandai will be revealing card artwork through a ‘Tuesday FUSEday’ online promotion running throughout January. Each week, three cards will be unveiled through a post on Digimon Fusion’s Facebook page.
