A touring exhibition to celebrate the history of Downton Abbey through fashion will begin in the US next month.
Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times will premiere at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina on February 5th. It will showcase nearly 40 period costumes and jewellery from the hit drama series.
It will remain at Biltmore Estate until May 25th, and will then tour North America cities including Chicago, Richmond, Cincinnati, Oshkosh, South Bend and Nashville through 2017.
The exhibition is designed and produced by Exhibits Development Group in collaboration with costumier Cosprop, Museum of London, NBCUniversal International Television Production and Carnival Films/PBS Masterpiece’s Downton Abbey.
