Knockout Licensing has signed a deal that will see Downton Abbey trading cards hit shelves in North America.
Cryptozoic Entertainment will produce and distribute a line of collectable trading cards and card binders based on the hit TV property.
Plus, Knockout Licensing’s co-presidents Carole Postal and Tamra Knepfer has extended deals with Workman Publishing and Rizzoli. The former had such success with its Downton Abbey 2013 Engagement Diaries, it has been granted rights to offer 2014 Engagement Diaries and 2014 Page-A-Day Calendars.
Rizzoli is already enjoying success with its Universe Publishing imprint’s Downton Abbey 2013 Wall Calendars, and has now signed on to create 2014 Wall Calendars.
A statement read: "As the licensing agency entrusted with management of the Downton Abbey licensing program in North America, Knockout Licensing is actively seeking additional licensing partners for product categories including home furnishings, home décor and bedding, jewellery, kitchen accessories, lighting, timepieces, tableware, and formal attire."
