Evolution is developing new licensing programmes for two of Rubicon Group Holding’s (RGH) properties: Monster In My Pocket and Life and Adventures of Santa Claus.
And RGH’s premier licensing and global brand management firm will unveil both new programmes at the company’s booth B71 at the 2013 Licensing Show in Las Vegas.
Popular boys brand of collectible monsters, Monster In My Pocket, is supported by a soon-to-be-named master toy partner.
Digital apps, games and an animated TV series are currently in development for the brand and Evolution is seeking licensing partners in categories including apparel and accessories, home furnishings, back to school, novelty toys, board games, trading cards and publishing.
The brand’s licensing programme is anticipated to launch at retail in spring 2015.
Meanwhile, Life and Adventures of Santa Claus is a new 3D CGI animated film, slated for release in 2014.
The property will be supported with licensed products in apparel, toys and publishing, which will retail concurrent with the release of the film.
Travis J Rutherford, president of licensing and retail at Evolution, said: "Monster In My Pocket has spawned over 200 characters since first debuting in 1990, and with the support of an animated television series, a web connect toy programme as well as a number of other digital apps and games, this property is well poised to smash into the global marketplace with innovative toys, games and other licensed products.
"Parlaying the amazing 3D technology now available to filmmakers, Life and Adventures of Santa Claus is an engaging and heartfelt tale, and we anticipate this film becoming the new holiday tradition for kids and families around the world."
Randa Ayoubi, RGH CEO, added: "Evolution’s licensing programmes for Monster In My Pocket and Life and Adventures of Santa Claus demonstrate the expertise, strategic planning and innovative vision the Evolution team brings to every property they assume.
"Plus Evolution’s long-established relationships in the licensing and merchandising communities are a tremendous asset in advancing RGH’s properties in the world market."
