DreamWorks Animation’s How To Train Your Dragon 2 has held on to the top spot of the US home video sales charts for the second consecutive week.
Meanwhile, moving back up to number two on the First Alert chart is Walt Disney Studio’s Frozen.
The award-winning title has surged back up the charts from its number eight position last week, fueled by the release of the new sing along edition DVD.
In the last week, Frozen generated 96 per cent as many unit sales as How To train Your Dragon 2, reports Variety.
Meanwhile, Disney’s Maleficent has found itself slipping from number two to number four, while the next three spots on the overall disc sales charts all went to new releases.
The Top 20 Nielson VideoScan First Alert chart for the week also sees Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue take tenth place, Mr Peabody and Sherman places at 15th, X-Men: Days of Future Past at 17, while The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug places 18th, providing almost the perfect bookend to this week’s dragon-led list.
