PlayKids TV, an app allowing kids to watch their favourite TV shows on the move, has signed 13 new children’s series, including Calilou and Care Bears.
The PlayKids TV app is available on both iOS and Android across the US and Latin America, allowing kids to pick what TV shows they watch.
Created by Movile, the TV app is keen to expand across Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia with the new additions to its roster.
Partnering with DHX Media, PBS, the Jim Henson Company and Televix Entertainment, the mobile app’s new additions include Animal Mechanicals, Calilou, Super Why, Sid the Science Kid, Rob the Robot, Franny’s Feat, Huxley Pig and Monster Math Squad.
The Paddington Stop Motion Series, Poko, the Herbs, Care Bears and Bo on the Go have also joined with the PlayKids TV app.
Many of the new series will be available across the Americas and the UK, while Movile plans its global expansion.
