Universal Studios Home Entertainment has acquired the rights to distribute, sell and market titles from HIT Entertainment’s content library in the US and Canada across a number of platforms.
Universal will begin to distribute and market the HIT catalogue from October 1st. In addition, the two companies will work together to distribute new content produced by HIT, including the upcoming Thomas & Friends feature length special, Tale of the Brave, due in the autumn.
Other content in the deal includes Angelina Ballerina, Barney & Friends, Bob the Builder, Pingu and Kipper among others.
