V&A Museum partners with Graham & Brown for wallpaper range

The Victoria and Albert Museum has partnered with Graham & Brown for a wallpaper range.

The Graham & Brown design team has created a ‘rich, striking and bold’ collection of wallpaper prints inspired by textile and wallpaper designs held at the V&A.

The first collection will be made up of four different patterns, drawn from material dating from the early 19th century to the 1950s.

A further four patterns will be released later this year.

"It was an incredibly inspiring experience, looking at design through the ages – and such a privilege to be given access to this national collection," said Nina Taylor, head stylist at Graham & Brown.

"It was of paramount importance for us to get the right balance in our interpretation – being true to the original design, whilst updating and modernising each pattern for today’s interior style."

Lauren Sizeland, director of business development and licensing at the V&A, added: "We are absolutely delighted that Graham & Brown are our new licensee in this key market sector.

"The designers have captured the essence of how the V&A continues to inspire contemporary and fashionable products."
