Disney Consumer Products has unveiled a new line-up of Marvel’s Super Hero-inspired luggage and travel accessories.
The new launch is part of Disney’s plans to build Marvel’s presence as a major player in the licensed travel arena.
The first wave of products will feature luggage, backpacks and accessories such as neck pillows, all featuring Marvel’s iconic Super Hero artwork.
Luggage brand Heys and American Tourister will serve as key partners in Marvel’s strategy to expand into new product sectors. Heys will launch a selection of hard shell cases for adults and family.
Further luggage licensees Global Design Concepts and Fast Forward will also release new lines of backpacks and rolling suitcases for kids and adults featuring Marvel’s Avengers and Spider-Man.
Elsewhere, Marvel is working with Jay Franco and Northwest to introduce a variety of character themed neck pillows and accessories.
Now, as Marvel continues to build its travel programme, Disney will look to secure deals in travel electronics and games.

“Now, whether travelling by plane, train, or automobile, fans are able to bring their Marvel fandom on the road with cool, durable suitcases, backpacks and travel accessories.”
