VEGAS 2015: Wicked Cool Toys signs Masterchef Junior

Wicked Cool Toys has sealed a deal for Masterchef Junior, which will see it launch a kid-safe cooking line in November at Walmart stores.

The new line – the result of a licensing agreement with Endemol Shine North America – is apparently designed to empower children of all cooking levels to improve their culinary skills, while having fun in the kitchen.

"Kids and families across the US have loved Masterchef Junior, making it a top ranked show in its time period, and we believe they will love to get their kids in the kitchen, making masterpieces just like on the show," said Jeremy Padawer, co-president at Wicked Cool Toys.

"The line features high quality, safe and aspirational cooking tools and will include recipes for all skill levels, along with plating suggestions to elevate their dishes."

Vivi Zigler, president, digital, brand and audience development at Endemol Shine North America, added: "The new Masterchef Junior cooking sets are the perfect way to introduce children to culinary essentials and a valuable extension of the Masterchef Junior brand."
