VEGAS 2016: Abrams Artists Agency teams with Local Choice Spirits for Grizzly Adams Whiskey

Abrams Artists Agency has teamed with the award-winning spirits producer Local Choice Spirits to launch a new line of Grizzly Adams Whiskey.

Designed to capture the adventurous spirit of the legendary Grizly Adams name, the line is expected to hit retailers across the US this autumn.

Following the initial launch domestically and online, Local Choice will introduce the product in stores domestically and internationally. Grizzly Adams Whiskey has a target price of $29.99.

In late 2015, Abrams Artist Agency partnered with Tod Swindell, owner of the Grizzly Adams brand rights, to reinvigorate the Grizzly Adams franchise through multiple-platform collaborations and licensing deals.

The legendary mountain man, John “Grizzly” Adams is best recalled for his 1850s adventures near Yosemite where he built a cabin and raised grizzly bears–one of which, Samson, is featured on California’s state flag.

Adams’ legacy inspired the 1974 movie, The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams and a follow-up TV series for NBC.
