VEGAS 2016: Ink Global eyes new international growth at Licensing Expo

Masha and the Bear is jetting off to take in the delights of Las Vegas as Ink Global readies to showcase its portfolio of kids’ properties at this year’s Licensing Expo.

The popular children’s animated series that currently broadcasts across the globe will be joined by the likes of The Mojicons, a new show that reveals the behind the scene world of the internet, Zafari and the Fixies.

Zafari takes viewers in to a multi-coloured world of animal spotting, while The Fixies follows a band of creatures who live inside machines, maintaining their upkeep unbeknownst to the humans that own them.

With its portfolio of original animated content already enjoying international broadcasting success across Europe, the US and Canada, Ink Global is looking to grow its licensing activity on a global scale.

“The mission of Ink Global is to scour the world for projects that combine distinct originality with a really strong story,” said Ink director, Claus Tømming.

“What we are bringing to Las Vegas is the fruits of this search – four innovative and original animations, each with the potential to drive incredible story-driven programmes, and each with the potential to become major franchises.”
