VEGAS 2016: Master Chef and Simon’s Cat prepare for Licensing Expo with Endemol Shine

Master Chef and Simon’s Cat will join a swathe of upcoming TV and digital properties on Endemol Shine’s stand at this year’s Licensing Expo.

The firm has detailed its plans to use the licensing industry event, taking place in Las Vegas next week, as a springboard for a raft of new series including CBS’ Hunted, and Fox’s Superhuman.

Endemol Shine North America will look to develop new licensing opportunities for its portfolio of properties – including the popular animated series Simon’s Cat – across the US, Canada and Mexico.

Categories currently available to licensees include consumer and digital products, gaming and gambling, publishing and live experiences.

“We are thrilled to introduce new and expanded licensing opportunities to Licensing Expo 2016,” said Tamaya Petteway, senior vice president, brand and licensing partnerships, Endemol Shine North America.

“With a diverse portfolio across unscripted, scripted and digital platforms, we continually strive to offer our licensing partners quality programmes for our viewer to experience and further interact with their favourite series.”

The firm has made recent strides in the licensing sector with its hit property Master Chef having secured a partnership with Life Journeys and Holland America to launch a Master Chef Cruise around the Caribbean , featuring a line-up of challenges and cooking demonstrations.

Endemol Shine North America will be on hand at this year’ Licensing Expo, occupying booth O252.
