Activision teams with Pacific Cycle for Skylanders bikes and scooters

Pacific Cycle, Skylanders product will be available at Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, Kmart as well as other mass and specialty retailers.

Pacific Cycle has partnered with Activision to launch its first range Skylanders themed bikes and scooters.

Marking the firm’s first partnership with the team ocredited to pioneering the toys-to-life category with the launch of Skylanders, the deal will also see Pacific Cycle launch a selection of Skylanders parts and accessories.

“We are thrilled to have entered this partnership with Activision because Skylanders is the genesis of exciting game play that will extend beyond the screen to the outdoors,” said Joe Hernandez, manager of licensing and business development for Pacific Cycle.

“It provides us an opportunity to showcase Pacific Cycle’s technological expertise and apply it to an innovative new line of Skylanders bicycles and parts and accessories.”

Ashley Maidy, vice president of licensing and partnerships at Activision has stated that the company is thrilled to be partnering with the prestigious outdoor recreation and cycling company.

“This is a category we have been excited to enter for a while, and Pacific Cycle is just the partner to complement Skylanders’ foray into the world of kids’bikes, scooters and cycling accessories,” she said.

Pacific Cycle, Skylanders product will be available at Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, Kmart as well as other mass and specialty retailers.
