Namco Bandai, Turner CN Enterprises and D3 Publisher are publishing new video games based on two of Cartoon Network’s most popular shows: Adventure Time and Regular Show.
Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know features a new storyline that sees fans save the Candy Kingdom by exploring a Secret Royal Dungeon deep below the Land of Ooo.
Characters from the show will be appearing, including Finn, Jake, Marceline and Cinnamon Bun and fans can play together in the four-player co-operative multiplayer gameplay.
Whilst the Emmy-winning Regular Show is making its video game debut in Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land.
After Mordecai and Rigby find themselves inside some of their favourite video games, players will have to beat a range of different challenges to help them get back home.
“We are very excited to extend our partnership with Turner CN Enterprises, via our sister company D3Publisher, with two exciting titles based on the famous Cartoon Network animated shows, Adventure Time and Regular Show,” said Olivier Comte, senior vice-president at Namco Bandai Games Europe.
“Following the success of these two TV shows, we are delighted to bring truly authentic video game experiences to Europe and Australasia that will please fans of all ages.”
Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know will be available on Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and 3DS whilst Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land will be exclusive to the 3DS. Both are set for Autumn 2013 releases.
