Rocket Licensing has signed another licence with Sabec, having previously worked with the mobile developer on a Scalextric game last year.

The iPhone version of the Airfix game is available on the App Store from today, while the Android version is scheduled to land in August.

Charlie Donaldson, joint MD of Rocket Licensing, said: "We - and all Airfix fans - are expecting another iPhone hit and are looking forward to the arrival of the Android platform version of the Airfix game app.

“Sabec has done it again. Hard on the heels of last year’s incredible success with Scalextric the company has again successfully brought the thrills and spills of one of the world’s best-loved hobby brands to the smartphone app."

In Airfix Dogfight, players can take control of everything from First World War planes to modern fighter jets.
