LazyTown Entertainment is launching its first iPad app.

Israel-based Castle Builders is making LazyTown BooClips – interactive story books for children.

There are currently two apps available, Dr Rottenstein and Sportacus, which encourages children to exercise.

The partnership will see an ongoing development of additional LazyTown apps, along with regular updates.

The Booclips feature easy touch controls, word for word narration, a voiceover recording button, sign language interpretation, a bookmark to remember pages.

Kids or parents can narrate the story: the words will highlight as spoken and music and sound effects will play in time with the twists and turns of the story.
