Greenlight has been working with video games publisher Ubisoft to help it secure a number of names, posters and logos from key Broadway musicals for use in its latest Nintendo Wii title.
Greenlight - which negotiates access to music, film, celebrity and entertainment content globally - worked with Ubisoft on the licensing strategy for the game.
It secured such brands as Fame - The Musical, Hair and Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show.
"Broadway and its music has never before been tapped for its gaming potential to this extent, despite the huge appeal hit shows have with audiences of all ages and backgrounds," said Didier Lord, worldwide music director at Ubisoft. "By working with Greenlight from the very beginning of the process, we were able to identify the right titles and successfully secure worldwide rights to use the names, posters and logos associated with some of the most beloved musicals of all time."
