A video game sequel to the smash hit Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo is in the works and will arrive this winter.

Moshi creator Mind Candy and games publisher Activision are currently working on Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park for a Christmas release. It will be released on Nintendo DS and 3DS.

Players will be able to restore a theme park to its former splendour by building attractions and rescuing Moshling monsters. They’ll also be able to interact with other 3DS players using the machine’s StreetPass feature.

The Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo DS game was released in November 2011 and went on to smash sales records on the platform.
