New Pokémon video game announced

Pokémon Rumble Blast for the Nintendo 3DS will put a new spin on the franchise, adding 'wind-up Toy Pokémon.'

Launching on October 24th, Pokémon Rumble Blast features over 600 Pokémon characters, including the new additions from the Black and White Version games.

Scott Morffitt, Nintendo of America’s EVP of sales and marketing, said: "Pokémon Rumble Blast delivers instant Pokemon gratification. More than 600 Toy Pokémon and social play opportunities offer deep experiences for longtime fans."

The game will make it easy for Pokémon fans to interact with each other, using the handheld's StreetPass feature.
