A new line-up of licensed Nintendo Wii games is on its way from Blast Entertainment.
The publisher's new range follows 'considered research and market analysis', with game prices ranging from £19.99 to £29.99.
"Producing games for Wii has always been part of our plan. Yet developing games that utilise the Wii's unique features takes time," said marketing manager at Blast, Kirsty Payne.
Blast plans to kick off its Wii offering with Mr Bean's Wacky World of Wii, which will be followed by Bob the Builder.
"With Mr Bean being one of the biggest global brands, we feel this is the perfect game to kick off our Wii range," added Payne. "The TV series is in distribution in over 60 territories and according to research 92 per cent of under 11s are great Mr Bean fans.
"We'll follow this up with a Bob the Builder game, again a huge household name, and included in the next batch will be Thomas the Tank Engine and Casper's Spooky Sports Day. We feel the line-up is perfect to take advantage of the Wii demographic and our strong IPs are ideally suited to the family market."
